Information for first-time visitors
Information for first-time visitors
For those who prefer to know as much as possible about a new space in advance, we’ve included some additional information below. Gen is happy to write a Social Story for anyone experiencing anxiety about a new space or clinician.
Location and accessibility
We have recently moved to the first floor of the newly completed "Nest" building at 1A Williams Street, Inverloch. Entry to the stairs and lift is via the sliding door in the middle of the building. Please note the front doors are locked before 9 am and after 5 pm; if your appointment falls outside these hours, we will meet you at the door.
Our office is located on your left as you exit the lift or stairs. There will be signage to reassure you that you are in the right place. Please note the entrance door to our office is quite heavy.
Please wait in the seated reception area and Gen will find you. Please do not wander down the hallway as we share the space with other clinicians.
If you require support in accessing the office in any way, please do not hesitate to let us know.
Parking
1P parking is available immediately outside the Nest. 2P parking is available in the FoodWorks car park, with a wide alleyway providing easy access to the front of the Nest building. All-day parking is available on some side streets. Accessible parking is available across the road from the front of the office or in the rear IGA car park.
A note on building works
We note the lower floors are undergoing internal renovations at present so appear empty. There may be people undertaking work downstairs. There is minimal noise in the counselling room, but you may hear some building noise when entering the building.
We welcome people of all backgrounds, genders, sexualities, cultures, bodies and abilities.
Please let us know if you have any support, sensory or safety needs.
